portavin shots 003-half sizeWe are pleased to report that Portavin Victoria has passed its latest BRC audit with a AA rating being the highest possible rating awarded by BRC.

BRC Global Standards is a world leading food safety and quality certification program, used by over 23,000 certificated suppliers in 123 countries ensuring that manufacturers fulfill their legal obligations and provide protection for the end consumer.

Portavin Victoria’s managing director Ian Matthews said this was the first time our Melbourne site has been audited against the new version 7 of the BRC standard and we are extremely pleased with the results.

“The stringent checks and measures put in place to pass a BRC audit are beneficial for Portavin and our customers alike as it ensures we are operating under and maintaining the highest possible standards across the entire business,” said Ian.

“I am very proud of our team for putting in the hard yards to pass this audit and we are all thrilled to have received a AA rating, the highest score possible,” he said.

“This rating gives our clients further assurance of the high standard of food safety, quality and operating systems that their wines are packaged under,” Ian said.
