Portavin Western Australia is pleased to announce it has attained an A Class BRC Global Standards rating giving our clients further assurance of the high standard of food safety, quality and operating systems that their wines are packaged under.
BRC Global Standards is a world leading food safety and quality certification program, used by over 23,000 certificated suppliers in 123 countries ensuring that manufacturers fulfill their legal obligations and provide protection for the end consumer.
Portavin WA’s general manager Anthony Davis said the BRC Global Standards accreditation was a fantastic process for the business to undertake as it reinforces that all of Portavin’s systems and processes are of the highest standards possible.
“The stringent auditing process to receive an A Rating guarantees that we have met the highest criteria of quality and safety which is of huge benefit to our clients and employees,” Anthony said.
“It was gratifying to hear the BRC auditors reporting that Portavin’s process control documentation and traceability are to an extremely high standard and our laboratory systems and management are first rate,“ he said.
“This A rating is a true testament of our team’s commitment to being Australia’s leading wine packaging company and I thank them all for their diligence and contribution to achieving this accreditation,” said Anthony.
