His best known single, Wicked Game, was a U.S. Top 10 hit, peaking at number 7 on the Billboard chart. The album, Forever Blue (1995), contained the hit, Somebody’s Crying, with both the song and the album nominated for Grammy Awards, whilst the intense and bluesy track, Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing, featured in Stanley Kubrick’s film, Eyes Wide Shut (1999) starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman.

Isaak has sold more than a million albums in Australia alone including 11 ARIA top 20 albums. His new 13th studio album, ‘First Comes The Night’, debuted at #2 on the ARIA Album Charts on its release in November. Representing his first album of original songs in six years, it was mostly written and recorded in Nashville, the city that shaped the careers of some of Isaak’s earliest influences, including Elvis Presley and Roy Orbison. In the course of Chris Isaak’s career he has also acted in several motion pictures, starred in his own critically acclaimed TV series and most recently performed at the 2015 AFL Grand Final and appeared as a judge on Australia’s X Factor.
